Chasity Melvin is a former WNBA All Star from Roseboro NC
and an NC State Hall of Famer. She graduated from NC State with a Mass Communications degree after leading Coach Kay Yow to her first ever Final Four appearance. She played in the WNBA for 12 seasons and 14 seasons abroad in Europe and Asia. Chasity Melvin isn’t afraid to shatter the glass ceiling as she continues to climb the ladder of success. She is a tenacious, innovative, and a compassionate individual who can deliver a powerful message based on life experiences, or roll up her sleeves to support many community and philanthropic causes. Her personality resonates whether she is coaching clients as a Life Coach, commentating as a basketball analyst on the sidelines or being a keynote speaker. Chasity Melvin knows what it feels like to reach her goals and dreams and is passionate about helping others experience that same feeling.
As a member of the Professional Sports Counseling panel, Chasity offers insight on her years of experience as a professional athlete, both nationally and internationally. She is an experienced Life Coach and helps athletes transition to a life in professional sports or a career after collegiate sports.
